Serving local congregations by empowering church leaders to make authentic followers of Christ and plant new churches.

Our Vision

To develop healthy churches by supporting, resourcing, & equipping church leaders in the Classis to fulfill their God given mission.

Our Values

  • Classis Ministry as a partner in mission with local congregations
  • Personal renewal precedes corporate renewal
    • A commitment to equip pastors to be effective leaders in their ministries
    • Each pastor needs to be aware of the circumstances of his/her ministry and be accountable to the Classis through their Cluster for working toward health and wholeness
    • Pastors who are Life Long Learners contributing to spiritual health, effective leadership, and a spirit of unity with Classis colleagues
  • Healthy Churches
    • Churches pursuing continuous improvement through such tools as the NCD survey, the Nine Triggers, and outside assessment
    • Each church needs to be aware of the circumstances of its ministry and be accountable to the Classis through their Cluster for working toward health and wholeness
    • To share ideas and resources between churches
    • To glean best practices from other classes, particularly in our region

    • Assess and equip church planters through resources provided by the RCA
    • Expand our presence in ethnic populations in our region
